    Tum to sote ho mahalon mein

    andheri sooni raton ke saayon mein
    yaadon ke ghaav maghar kab tak

    Kafan odh kar so bhi jawoon
    gar mujh par khaak koi daale
    behayaa aankhon ki garmi se
    dahken jazbaat maghar kab tak

    Koi naya chahne waala phir
    raatein rangeen banayega
    jismon ki numaaish mein honge
    naye naye kharidaar maghar kab tak

    Phir laut ke mujh ko dhoondoge
    kohron mein kabhi saawan mein kabhi
    jab kahin nahin deekhoonga tumhe
    hoga afsos maghar kab tak ?
