Use only warm water on marble floors. Never use vinegar in your solution as you may have learned, vinegar damages marble surfaces. Apply warm water and wipe up, followed by a dry towel to remove excess moisture. Make sure you always dry marble floors, otherwise the water will leave unattractive spots.

Easy Clean-Up of Hard-to-Reach Floor Corners

If you notice that a hard-to-reach floor corner has collected some dust or dirt, or if you’re someone who has trouble stooping down to reach into hard-to-reach corners spray some cleaner into the corner, soak a couple of sheets of paper towel with hot water, and tuck the soaked towels into the corner that has a problem. Let it sit for a half hour or longer.
A half hour or more after you’ve left the soaked towel scooping it up with a dustpan should reveal a pretty much clean corner. Giving it another quick spray and a quick wipe with a clean paper towel may or may not be necessary. Using the dustpan for this finish-up wipe with a towel eliminates the need for having to lean too far down to reach.

Try mixing corn starch and water and make into a paste. Rub on with a soft, clean cloth. Test this in an inconspicuous area first.

For cleaning wood laminate or linoleum floors use water and distilled white vinegar.
First sweep the floors and then I like to use a duster to pick up any hair or dust. Then fill a bucket one quarter full with the vinegar and the rest water. I like to add some essential oils to make it smell more appealing. Add about 20 or more drops to the bucket.
Then mop, be sure to remove as much water from the mop before using.
I also like to use a dry soft clean towel to buff dry the floors as I mop.

                  Cleaning Tips On Your Furniture

Clean all non-fabric materials with a clean damp cloth. If your upholstery needs to be shampooed, follow the instructions on the label of the cleaning product. You may also use a homemade solution made of a mixture of liquid dish detergent and warm water. This preparation must be whipped using an egg beater or mixer to make dry suds.
Now use the fabric attachment or brush of your vacuum to clean the upholstery. Just remember to keep the furniture completely dry while shampooing it to avoid damage caused by mildew. Clean small areas on the furniture at a time and then wipe clean using a clean damp cloth. Let the upholstered furniture dry out completely.

Use a silicon-based grout sealer and apply one or two coats to dry grout. Apply this to all the grout lines to protect them from water and stain damage.
