Six dead in two Pakistan blasts

Six people have died and at least 20 people have been injured in two bomb blasts in the Pakistani city of Lahore, police say.
Many of the injured are in critical condition and doctors fear the death toll may rise.

No-one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Police say the blasts were not targeted against a particular person or community, but were aimed at creating panic in the country.

Iran and Iraq remember conflict

Iran and Iraq are remembering their eight-year war in the 1980s, exactly 25 years after the conflict began.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad struck a defiant note at a military parade in the Iranian capital Teheran.

He warned that any country attacking the Islamic republic would face a "destructive and fiery" response.

EU experts urge bird flu action

Medical and veterinary experts from across Europe have advised EU states to coordinate their actions to deal with the threat of bird flu.
The experts' meeting in Brussels on Thursday was the first such EU summit to focus on the disease, which has killed dozens of people in Asia.

There have been no cases of bird flu among humans in the EU, but the lethal H5N1 strain of it has reached Russia.

There are fears the virus could mutate, jump species and cause a pandemic.

Shamali Alaqa Jaat mein bohat shadeed tabahi, Mansehra mein zalzeley key bohat jhatkey mehsoos kiyey gaey hain. Log apney gharon sey bahir nikal ker kharey hain.

Tehsil Balakot mein acha khasa jaani nuqsaan rapport kiya geya hai.


Isi tarha Rawalpindi, Islamabad mein log bahir gali sarkon mein kharey hain.
