I have deeply studied the hadood ordinance of 1979, lekin us mein bohat si kabahatein thein, islam ke naam per gair-islami kanoon-saazi thi. Bohat si masoom auraton ka istehsaal hua. Burai kum honay ki bajaye ziada hui. Us kanoon ke tehat rape victim ko legal protection aur justice ki bajaye akser o beshtar khud he cases ka samna kerna perta tha. Is liye bohat se rape-cases manzar-e-aam per bhi nahi aaye. Saza pe saza mili auraton ko. Go ke is law se bohat se aurat ki bajaye rapists ko protection mili.

Ub jo hadood ordinance pesh kia gaya he, us mein woman protection ziada he aur govt. ub bhi claim kerti he ke yeh islam ki asoolon per banaya gaya he. Then why to worry...carry on with the new one. We welcome the amendments :)

If u have studies it in detail, u may b right in drawing this conclusion.True that old ordinance was a mean to exploit women.we cant blame the ordinance, it was the imposing force that took benefit of it. obviously, law enforcing agencies come first in this regard. Our politicians and fuedal lords added flame to it. there were certain weaknesses as well but we cant say that the present amendments are to provide protection to women. Just look at the motive behind it. This is a bill that has been proposed to tell the west that we are so called MODERATE country. U see it's good that they intend to remove the obligation that a lady shouldnt b asked to present four GAWAH but at the same time dont u think that it's gonna be used as means to exploit this loose end for corrupt acts. so called modernism where no body can check anyone. What I hv understood by reading articles and listening to various debates, this act will reduce the minute distinction b/w Zina bil jaber and Zina bil raza... both are strikingly distinct. now if a lady admits herself guilty of Zina Bil Raza, there is no penalty for this in new ordinace. Won't it be a source of moral deterioration in an Islamic society?

above all this bil has been presented just for the sake of political profits.

3.)Modern and advance ban-ne ki hawas
4.)Ladkiyon ka chhotey chhotey dress, anjaan ban-ne ke mardon ko expose karna
5.)TV serials

Middle East mein Seksual Harrasment nanhiin hota


Exemption of above points
Gaon mein na fashion hai, na western culture, modernity bhi nahin aur na hi TV to phir wahan bhi aise cases kyon hotey hain

Libas factor nahin, fully dressed waley bhi shikar hotey hain
6-10 years also victim

Govt. doesnt show one side, ab court faisla karti hai, and court is based on might is right.

Chahye India ho, ya Pak, ya duniya ka koi bhi country, rapist ko saza minor hi hota hai, kahin kahin to saza hota bhi nahin, India mein rapist ko death sentence dene ki demand ho rahi thi, jiska oppose aurton ne hi kiya.
Abhi bhi kayi cases hain, jo pendings 10-20 saal se pending hain, ab uska kya hoga.

You are cent percent right, sometimes even a silly argument provokes us to look into the matter with some different perspective which obviously brings a diversity which no doubt is a raw material of discussion and a positive thing too and the very similar thing happened over here :khi: From Xenya's sharing a came accross a number of points that i didn't know before and ofcourse my concepts are much clear than before.
