You are right brother only struggle and hard work would be the fundamental cause of development but this international language would be the stair for this work to get our selves to the high extents of success once again its all about this global village that we not just only communicate within our country or just with our countrymen but also we have to enter in international markets ,we need some revolution changes and got to accept this fact. What would be the use of that pride that it would give us identity or individuality but no success!

the success of the products in international market are not depending on english language as i have told u before that if u r selling ur product to english countreis its ok,but if u r selling ur product to the countries remain coulonies of britain its also ok but if u r selling ur product to another country they will never accept the english language as for the example i had told u that french dutch german spainish and in all of there coulonies u can't sell ur product in english even in arabic countries u have to give the litrature and the use of the product in arabi.

Urdu, distinguished from Hindi by its script and vocabulary, is the national language of Pakistan and one of the official languages of India. It is one of the most widely spoken languages of South Asia, and has acquired a wider distribution in other parts of the world, notably the UK, where it is regarded as their major cultural language by most Muslims from Pakistan and northern India. Besides its important role as the chief vehicle of Islam in South Asia, Urdu has an important secular literature, whose poetry is closely based on Persian models.

I think english is very important because it helped me to comunicate here in VOY and English is my second language. my native language is Arabic and I think it's nessesery to learn different languages to be able to comunicate easily with people from different culters and countries.
but although we should keep our native language alive.
English is very important because people know english as their second language if not their native, so it's important to learn it.


I think everyone should at least learn one foreign language!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The government of Musharraf and some other:khi: has made English as the compulsory language to be taught in Pakistan. Urdu literature has lost its popularity there and the number of students in advanced Urdu studies is decreasing by the year.

my dear friand can you count me the achievments of the english,pakistan is now known as the country of the atomic power in the whole world and for that we are thankfull to our allah and then for dr abdul qadeer khan,can you please tell me that where dr abdul qadeer khan got his education of phd?but do remember that he did't got his phd of physics in english:khi:

The Muslim Scientist (I think it was Alberoni) who firstly intorduced some mathematical rules was not at all urdu speaking.

He did PHD from Belgium...i don't know whether he did in english or some other lang., but still it is not our concern. We are talking about the advantages and disadvantages...hope u get me

You know the resason of decreasing this number of studnets in urdu studies its beacuse of lack of future opportunities.If you are MA in Urdu ,good taste of litratutre but this thing didn't help you to built your successfull future you would have very less opportunities might be you would become a lecturer or a teacher or any of the field related to the Arts but its not a long lasting career ,the world is moving a head you have to compete them as a lecturer may be you would call ur self successfull but in a University how many lecturers would be required ,10,20 or 50 i don't think so more than that .this figure won't cross thousands and you could analysise the number of studants if 2 or 3 or max 5 would become lecturers from a passing group than what will remaining studants will do?do you think they would have any good option?they couldn't join any of multinational firmbeacuse of lack of english,and i think being a Pakistani you 'll know the positions of government jobs.

So why not studants would choose that options who they will think the path to their future succes.At this point you will sayu the succes will not depend on language but by brother it is a path towards it.

My dear sister i agree with this fact that urdu has vast and beautiful work in litrature but this litrature so much fantisize us as a hobby as a time pass but you couldn't rely your self on this litrature.I myself very fond of Urdu litrature,good collection of books and also writting some stuff in Urdu but this is not my proffesion,its just to relax my mind or you can say as a hobby.I read litrature just to refresh my mind but practicaly offcoarse there is no space of such stuff.
Litrature will give you relaxation but not fulfil your basic need of life:)
And a starving stomach and tired of brain from finnacial issues will absolutly wouldn't give you any cheerish from this beautiful poetry ,cultural elegance and charming of litrature.

so what does i mean that when muslims have developed science that was not in the language of english,they developed science in there own language then why we could't in urdu?simply it's need only hard work to develop any country in any laguage.
as you know my friend that dr abdul qadeer khan did phd from belgium in flamash language and about this languiage i think that you have heard on first time,although belgium is very small country and the official languages of belgium are french and flamash,so if a small country who can develope their science and tecknology in such a language that is not well known by the people of the world,so why we could not in urdu.
one thing i shall be bring in your notice that the main development in the field of science and neuclier tecknology in pakistan have brought from belgium,then we should learn flamash language,why english?
but my dear friend if belgium can develop their science and thecknology in a domestic language then we could also develop it in our proud urdu language,thanks.
