Aisha reported: There was no behavior more hateful to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, than lying. A man would lie when narrating something in the presence of the Prophet and he would not be satisfied until he knew that he had repented.

Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Every good deed is charity. Verily, it is a good deed to meet your brother with a smiling face, and to pour what is left from your bucket into the vessel of your brother.”

Uqbah ibn Amir reported: I met the Messenger of Allah and I began speaking, taking his hand and saying, “O Messenger of Allah, tell me about virtuous deeds.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said,“O Uqbah, reconcile whoever cuts you off, give to whoever deprives you, and turn away from whoever wrongs you.”

Harithah ibn Wahb reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He will not enter Paradise who is coarse and conceited.” Harithah said, “Coarse means rough and unkind.”

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: I entered upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was suffering from fever. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, you are suffering from a strong fever.” The Prophet said, “Yes. I suffer from fever as much as two men among you.” I said, “Is that because you will have a double reward?” The Prophet said, “Yes it is so. There is no Muslim who is afflicted with pain as much as the prick of a thorn or more except that Allah will expiate his sins just as leaves fall from a tree.”

Abu Huraira reproted: A desert Arab came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “O Messenger of Allah, show me a deed by which I may enter Paradise.” The Prophet said, “Worship Allah and never associate anything with Him, establish the prescribed prayer, and pay the charity which is obligatory upon you, and observe the fast of Ramadan.” The man said, “By Him in Whose hand is my soul, I will never add anything to it, nor will I lessen anything from it.” When the man turned his back, the Prophet said, “He who is pleased to see a man from the people of Paradise should look to him.”

Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would get ready for sleep, he would blow into his hands, recite the two chapters of refuge (surah al-falaq and surah an-nas), and he would wipe his hands over his body.

Hasan ibn Ali reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taught me some words to say in the witr prayer, “O Allah, guide me among those you have guided, pardon me among those you have pardoned, protect me among those you have protected, bless me in what you have given me, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. Verily, you alone decree and none can pass decree upon you. Verily, he cannot be humiliated whoever is protected by You. Blessed are You, our Lord, the Exalted.”
