  • Happy Mothers' Day

M is for the million things she gave me,
    O
means only that she's growing old,
T is for the tears she shed to save me,
    H
    is for her heart of purest gold;
E is for her eyes with love-light shining,
    R
means right, and right she'll always be,

Put them all together, they spell MOTHER
    Howard Johnson (c. 1915)

    Happy Mothers's Day To All..
    May Allah Almighty Help Us
    to understand and respect the
    beautiful relations we have

A MOTHER LOVEIf I live in a house of spotless beauty with everything in it's place,
but have not love, I am a "housekeeper"-not a homemaker.
If I have time for waxing, polishing, and decorative achievements,
but have not love, My children learn of cleanliness-not godliness.
Love leaves the dust, and goes in search of a child's laugh.Love smiles at the tiny fingerprints on a newly cleaned window.Love wipes away the tears before it wipes up the spilled milk.Love picks up the child before it picks up the toys.Love is present through trials.Love reprimands, reproves, and is responsive.Love crawls with the baby, walks with the toddler, runs with the child,
then stands aside to let the youth walk into adulthood.
Love is the key that opens salvation's message to a child's heart.
Before I became a mother, I took glory in my house of perfection.
Now I glory in God's perfection of my child.
As a mother, there is MUCH I must teach my child,
But the greatest of these is LOVE.

A mother's love asks no return, expects no reward ...a mother's love asks only to give.

A WONDERFUL MOTHER God made a wonderful mother,
                      A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
                      And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
                      In her cheeks fair roses you see;
                      God made a wonderful mother,

And He gave that dear mother to me.

                        MY MOTHER

When sleep forsook my open eyes
Who was it sang sweet hushaby,
And rocked me that I should not cry?
                        My Mother.

Who sat and watch my infant head
When sleeping on my cradle bed,
And tears of sweet affection shed?
                        My Mother.

When pain and sickness made me cry
Who o gazed upon my heavy eye,
And wept for fear that I should die?
                        My Mother.

Who dressed my doll in clothes so gay,
And taught me pretty how to play,
And minded all I had to say?
                        My Mother.

Who ran to help me when I fall,
And would some pretty story tell,
Or kiss the place to make it well?
                        My Mother.

Who taught my infant lips to pray
And love God's holy book and day,
And walk in wisdom's pleasant way?
                        My Mother.

And can I ever cease to be
                        Affectionate and kind to thee,
Who wast so very kind to me?
                        My Mother?

Ah, no! the thought I cannot bear,
And if God please my life to spare
I hope I shall reward thy care,
                        My Mother.

When thou art feeble, old and grey
My healthy arm shall be thy stay,
And I will soothe thy pains away,
                        My Mother.

And when I see thee hang thy head
Twill be my turn to watch thy bed,
And tears of sweet affection shed,
                        My Mother.

                          Re: Happy Mothers' Day

                          WHAT IS A MOTHER?
A mother is someone to shelter and guide us,
To love us, whatever we do,
With a warm understanding and infinite patience
                          And wonderful gentleness, too.
How often a mother means swift reassurance
In soothing our small, childish fears,
How tenderly mothers watch over their children
And treasure them all through the years!
The heart of a mother is full of forgiveness
For any mistake, big or small,
And generous always in helping her family,
Whose needs she has placed above all.
A mother can utter a word of compassion
And make all our cares fall away,
She can brighten a home with the sound of her laughter
And make life delightful and gay.
                          A mother possesses incredible wisdom
And wonderful insight and skill -
In each human heart is that one special corner
Which only a mother can fill!
