    imkaan muhabbat sey agar begaaney lagtey hain
    sitaarey toot kar aasman sey sataanay lagtey hain

    muhabat may kisi izhar ki khushbu ho shamil tho
    suraj chand sitaron ko kiun mehkaney lagtey hain

    jahan izhaar ki baarish zamin pe pardney lagti hai
    wahan mehbub dilber ko bohoth tardpaney lagtey hain

    zaalim zamana hai kahain qaabu may rakhna dil
    aur khud garebaan daikhh kar sharmaney lagtey hain

    agar dil thordna chaaho kisi ka waqth nahi laita
    zakham bharney taluk dil ko kai zamaney lagtey hain

    raahon pe wafa key hum chalengey chaltey jaaengey
    teri khaamosh nazron may mujeh bahaney lagtey hain
