Ab yeh forum ki intizamiyah per hai keh woh apney members key saath kaisa behave rakhti hai aur unhein kaisey deal karti hai. Well, first of all i don't want to be an Admin or something like as I want to enjoy board keeping myself miles away from this headache :lol

No doubt it's a rather tough job and the only diligent and dedicated person like MASOOD is eligible can justify this status. Ofcourse the board has so far been superb. Still i would like to provide you with some of my humble suggestions as to make the board more significent and worth-praising.

You being an Admin, set your prime objective to create an unambigous environment to promote the good threads. Despite of the fact that the chitchat, teasing, mockery and hanky panky are some of the raw material of this forum, there should also be a thorough focus on the serious and grave issues. Choose the eligible MODS, who are wise enough to justify their status. Give them more privilage enabling them to mark the members with the rank/status they deserve, like Bonga Member, Standard Member, Excellent Member, Poet, Good Poet, Outstanding Poet, Funny member, Very Funny member, Writer, Good Writer, Excellent Writer, Vigilant, Outstanding Member/outstanding allrounder and replace this system with the recent reputation system. This way every memeber would be recognized with its due potential and ability. These statuses should be given and reviewed carefully by a Set of Admin Team members or Mods after profoundly evaluating their respective posts and their replies. Each set of MODs should review fortnighly the performance of the members and upgrade or degrade their status accordingly. After each Month announce the outstanding member of the Month with respect to its outstanding work.

Its a bit difficult proceedure, but to bring a revolutionary but health change, relevant work is a must. I am pretty sure this step will be helpful to eliminate or lessen the Bonga System and Hanky Panky and to promote a decent, high-spirited and competitive environment

There is one problem with this approach... nobody likes to be labelled with a status like "Standard Member".. when some other members have a status like "Excellent Member"... he will feel inferior... he might even feel jealous... it will affect his self-esteem...

members will like it if u upgrade their status... but what will happen when you degrade their status... and if this is done by a single person like the MOD or maybe even the Admin team, he will not like it...

On the other hand, we can have competitions like "Best Funny Thread", "Best Serious Thread" like we have poetry contests in poet's club... we can give awards to members for their good work ... and this will be decided by voting.

Very nice post first of all .....its always..nice to hear the input ...aur achey ADMIN ki ye khubee hai ke vo apnee members ki bhi raye lein .I also agree with AMIR here ..he has a nice suggestion ....remember there is always room for improvement ( thats what my dad always says) .Yes you are right in saying that NO ONE has the right to compare forums ., har forum ki apni aik pehchan hotee hai and APNI EK JAGA and its also what you make of the forum ....:rose

There is one problem with this approach... nobody likes to be labelled with a status like "Standard Member".. when some other members have a status like "Excellent Member"... he will feel inferior... he might even feel jealous... it will affect his self-esteem...

Well i agree with Udaas on these issues.... if u are an outstanding member...u might be labeled with some nice tag but just as an extra....not a completely new category...so as to hurt another member.....there should be rewards but...sometimes they might lead to jealousy.....and so....i agree there....

And if i were to be THE ADMIN of Pegham(which looks like a LOooooooooOng shot for the heavy weight title...in this life time perhaps)....i would open an english section definitely.....hum urdu ke shidaayi to hain hi magar....hum main se kayi members english main bhi apne aap ko express kerne ki khaasi salahiyat rukhte hain..and ofcourse....it would be of help any ways for all members...

And then lot's of competitions....ranging from best poet to best writer....best designer...what ever....i would like to enroll my members into some sort of activity every now and then....which would be healthy....and on beat....and members will have every oppertunity to express themselves ., in their own trustworthy domain....

And yes..GTG...get to gethers for members.....well...that would surely depend on the member capacity....

There's one more thing , but completely differently....thats donations....we members who are sitting outside Pak (or even inside doesn't matter actually) would be asked to do favours if the need arises....but..that's a bit risky....and troublesome...risky in terms of the deliverance and collection....and troublesome 'cos it's not always a happy go lucky factor...but...it would be another chapter...and well...we should always be given the oppertunity to help.....we need assistance....
