Sunil Dutt passes away

Well known veteran actor and politician Sunil Dutt expired this morning in Mumbai. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home. He would have celebrated his 75th birthday next Tuesday. He leaves behind his son, well-known filmstar Sunjay Dutt, and daughters Namrata and Priya and his grandchildren.

Sunil Dutt has been Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Minister. Born on 6th June, 1929, in the small village of Khurd (now in Pakistan) in district Jhelum, he went on to become one of the top leading men of his time. Besides his illustrious career as an actor - with films like BR Chopra's 'Ek Hi Raasta' (1956) and Mehboob Khan's 'Mother India' (1956) to his credit -- he will be remembered for his philanthropy and social work. Mr Dutt was last seen on-screen in the runaway hit 'Munnabhai MBBS', where he played father to his real life son Sanjay. In a distinguished career spanning many decades, he acted in 106 films and directed six.

Zinda Dil insaan thay Sunil Dutt sahab, MusalmanoN ke liye unhoN ne bahut kuchh kiya...

Main unn se sirf do baar mila...ek baar jab 1996 meiN padd yatra ke liye nikle thay aur hamare shahar meiN qayam pazir huwe.

Second time in 1999, 10th Akbar Road new Delhi meiN jab school ke liye appointment lene unke chamber pahuncha tha, unhoN ne baRi garm joshi se isteqbaal kiya, lekin date dene se qaasir rahe kyoN ke ussi shaam wo Mumbai jaane wale thay, tab jaa kar maiN ne Vinod Khanna se date liya tha.

ji haan sahi kahaa aapnien mujhe achchi tareh yaad hai 1992 mien jab BABRI MASJID SHAHEED KI GAYI THI aur Bombay mien fasaaad phoot pare they tab woh ek wahid Member of parliament they jinhoonien apni kursi se resign kiyaa thaa aur jiss dileeri se musalmaanoon kaa saath diyaa thaaa ke utni dileeri to kisi musalmaan leader nien bhi nahin dikhaaayi thi aur musalmaanoon kaa saath denien kaa silaa bhi milaa thaa unhien unke bete sanjay ko TADA ke tahat giraftaar kiyaa gayaa jisse sanju baba aaj tak bari nahin ho sakaa

1993 ke danga meiN Sanjay Dutt ne apni car ke aage muslaman ko marte dekha, usne musalmano k gharoN ko jalte dekha, uske dil mein musalmano ke liye Hamdardi hai aur hoga kyoN nahiN, jise maN aur mama se virasat meiN paya. Tab jaa kar RSS, aur Shiv Sena ne uske Khilaf conspiracy tayyar karke TADA meiN phanasaya ke wo musalmano ka hamdard kyon hai.
