Re: Australia vs India - 3rd Test - Perth

Dhoni: It is pretty hard to stomach. We have not performed well in this series till now. If we had made in the second innings, we could have put up a fight. Class is permanent. Players do have some bad series. The performances of Virat and Umesh have been heartening. It's good to see Virat perform as Rohit Sharma, a talented youngster, is on the bench. Umesh Yadav has been rewarded for some bowling some consistent lengths. We have not adapted to the conditions. The only motivation for us is to prevent a 4-0 loss and we will look to prevent that in Adelaide.

Once again, India has lost a series away from home. Once again, the technique of the batsmen has been exposed by wickets which assist the bowlers. Every time India get ready to tour, the focus shifts to the famed trio, Sachin, Laxman and Dravid. But these three have failed miserably on this tour. Leave alone runs, they have been asked questions of their technique. Enough said about the batting, the bowling too has not been disciplined. The very same Australian batting line-up had been exposed by a very average, yet disciplined bowling New Zealand attack less than two months back. Though the bowling started off well in Melbourne, they were handed a pasting in Sydney.
