Warner is the Man of the match for his blistering knock of 180

Warner: I was playing my natural game. I see myself as a batsman and look to score runs whenever I can. At the end of the day, in Test cricket most of the fielders are behind the wicket. So there will be a lot of scoring opportunities in front of the wicket. Cowan has been a fantastic opening partner. I enjoy opening with him. If the ball is in the area, I will go for the shot. I can leap quite high, hope that I can find an alternative career after cricket. The bowlers are bowling some fantastic lengths which give us a lot of chances. Hope we can continue that in Adelaide.

Clarke: Great performance from Warner and Cowan in pretty tough conditions. Bowlers continue to exhibit their skills. The only difference between the side from the New Zealand Tests is the hard work. Hobart was a difficult track for our batters. As a a batting group we have been able to reach 300. There has been enough for the bowlers in all the wickets. The Perth track has made the batsmen work hard for runs. We need to do a lot more work in our batting. The selectors in the past also did everything that they could. The new selectors have brought a lot of fresh enthusiasm. Ponting has been fantastic in the group, he has brought a lot of experience. I want Australia to reach the top spot in all the three formats of the game. We wanna win this series 4-0, we shall come hard at the Indians in Adelaide.
