میں آپ سے اس بات پر اتفاق کرتا ہوں لیکن یہ حالات حالات کی بات ہے۔ کب، کون کیا کرتا ہے؟

بدقسمتی سے ہمارا ملک بہت سے بحرانوں سے گزر رہا ہے
اور ہمارے دشمنوں کو بھی موقع ملا ہوا ہے اور مفاد پرست عناصر بھی ملک کا خون چوس رہے ہیں

جب تربیلا بنا تھا، تو جہاں تک مجھے یاد پڑتا ہے اس وقت فیلڈ مارشل جنرل اٰیوب کا دور تھا یا پھر ان کا ہاتھ تھا اس ڈیم کو بنانے میں، مجھے ٹھیک سے یاد نہیں( کیونکہ میں کافی بعد میں پیدا ہوا تھا :) )۔ اور غالباً منگلا ڈیم بھی انہی کا بنایا ہوا ہے۔ اور جنرل ایوب کا دورِ حکومت آج بھی لوگ یاد کرتے ہیںکہ اس وقت جنرل نے لوگوں کے لیئے بہت آسانیاں پیدا کی تھیں۔

Yes, I do agree with fact and Yes, this way of rejection is against the Democratic ways, but this is also a fact that provinces were not in the favor of this and there might be already big opposition against this.

I do understand your good point.
But you cannot always implement the good things at all places.

Even If that DAM was good for our nation, Laikin jab logon ko is say takleef ho gi to wo usay bura samjhain gay.

Mein politicions par comment nahin karta, kiyon kairay nazdeek, ziada tar politicians ka eeman hota hi nahin, is liey un say kuch bhi expect kia ja sakta hay.

Agar koi un elaqon say ho jahan yeh DAM banna tha, to wo behtar bata sakta hay, key wo kia issues thay? Aur True thay ya politicians nay problem khari kar rakhi thi?

Agar hum sirf apnay mufaad daikhain, aur baqi logon ko ignore kar dain, specially jo hamaray mufaad say affect ho rahay hon, to yeh selfishness ho gi.

Again, if there is a better option, even if it is not being implemented democratically, I'm in the favor of that, jis say maximum logon ka bhala ho, like option for Small Dams, easy to manage and cover more areas, plus multiple sources of power

As you said, it was an old issue and in reality, it was a disputed issue

It was not being resolved due to many concerns, so I think, instead of implementing it forcefully and against the will of people, it should be changed with other good plans. I think, current cancellation of Kala Bagh Dam is due to this reason.

Now the concern is, how politicians are going to meet their suggested solution i.e. Multiple small dams.
