  • FOLDER OPTION missing

    Click start button & click run
    type "Regedit" in run box & press OK
    Registry editor will show up in windows explorer fashion
    left section will show location of regitry entries
    right section will show contents of current registry entry

    in left section go to following place
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
    in right section right click & create new or modify existing DWord value called "NoFolderOptions"
    set it value to 1 to hide folder options
    set it value to 0 to show folder options
