    Windows 98

    1. Double Click on "My Computer" Icon on your desktop.
    2. Double Click on the "Dial-Up Networking" folder.
    3. Double click on "Make New Connection" icon.
    4. For Connection Name type in "PTCL" and click next..
    5. Type your city code in "Area Code". Under telephone no. type 13177777. Click next.
    6. Now click "Finish" to save your configuration.
    7. You will see a PTCL icon in your Dial-up Networking folder. Click on the PTCL icon with your right mouse button and select Properties.
    8. Deselect the Country Code and Area Code option.
    9. Click on Server Types tab. Deselect all options except TCP/IP. Then click TCP/IP Settings.
    10. The following options should be selected in this window. Then Click OK.
    11. Right Click again on PTCL Icon and select "Create Shortcut".
    12. The following message will appear. Click OK so that your PTCL Shortcut will be placed on your Desktop.

    Windows ME

    1. From the "Start menu", click "Settings", and choose "Dial-Up Networking".
    2. Double-click the "Make New Connection" icon.
    3. For connection Name type in "PTCL ". Make sure your modem is listed in the selected Modem box.
    4. Type your city code in "Area Code". Under Telephone No. type 13177777. Click Next.
    5. Click "Finish" to save your configuration.
    6. You will see a PTCL icon in your "Dial-up Networking folder". Click on the PTCL icon with your right mouse button. Click on "Properties".
    7. Click on the "Networking" tab. Uncheck all boxes except TCP/IP. Then click the "TCP/IP Settings" Button.
    8. The following options should be selected in this window.
    9. Right Click again on PTCL Icon and select "Create Shortcut".
    10. The following message will appear. Click OK so that your PTCL Shortcut will be placed on you Desktop.

    Windows 2000

    1. Click on Start menu, then click on Settings.
    2. Click on Network and Dial-up Connections.
    3. Click on "Make New Connection" icon. Click on Next.
    4. Click Next to start the Network Connection Wizard.
    5. Select the second option "Dial-up to the internet" and then click next.
    6. Select the third option. Click Next.
    7. Select " I connect through a phone line and modem". Click on Next.
    8. Type your city code in "Area Code". Give 13177777 under Telephone number. Deselect "use area code and dialing rules" option.
    9. Type in PTCL username and password (ptcl/ptcl) and click Next.
    10. Type PTCL in connection name field.
    11. Click No if you do not want to configure your mail account.
    12. Click on Finish to configure your PTCL connection

          Mein ne bhi aik baar is tarah net connect kiya tha.Mairay paas speed itni achi nahin aa rahi thi.Shaid rush ke auqaat hoon.
