  • Disk Allocation in Windows Vista

I am using LG R400 laptop (1.8GHz Dual Core, 1 GB DDR, 110 GB HDD), recently i installed windows vista (Home Basic)in it, i deleted all the partition and make 4 partitions equally of 110 GB, 3 partitions were showing primary, and last one was not allocating the partition, it was not showing the option to format or make a partition, at last i installed windows vista without allocate the last partition.

Now the problem is that my windows is showing the 3 partition, but 4th one is not showing.

Now how can i make visible 4th partition, i checked in disk management, it is showing unallocated ?

    Assalamo Allaikum

It'd be much easier if you put up som screen dumps of the disk management and tell us what option you get if you right click on the vaccant space in disk management...

I do as you are advising me, but it didn't make the partition.

I've not suggested you anything yet - I am just asking, let me know the options, when you left click on patition in Disk Manager - or if possible upload a screen dump
