Want to install Windows XP over Vista on Laptop

ASSALAM-o-ALAIKUM Everybody....!

I am using Sony Vaio VGN-NS21M Laptop.

I import it from Italy.

Windows Vista was installed on it (for 30 days in italian language).

Now i want to reinstall it and install Windows XP.

Whenever i boot the laptop from Windows XP Cd, it shows the error that "hard disc could not found"..

While there is no problem in hard disc.

What should i do...?

Before you decide to reinstall your NEWER PC with an elder Operating System, be 100% sure that you have or you can download ALL the necessary drivers for Vaio. I am also using Vaio but with Win 7.

Firstly you visit the Sony website and find out if you can download all drivers.

Then you need a software, which can destroy your current partitions (Partition Magic)

Then create new partition, which has the support for NTFS

After that you'll be able to install XP.

Yes, i have Windows XP Drivers.

I used DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke) to wipe all my data, and delete all partiotions of hard disc.

But the problem exist.

I think the problem is installing the Older version (XP) over Newer Version (VISTA).

app kisi bhi version ko format karkay koi sa bhi version install karsaktay hain...............

i think app ki hard disk old sata1 hain.. is kay liyah app ko aik driver ki zarorat paray gi jab app dvd rom main xp ki cd dal kar restart kartay hain aur cd say boot kartay hain to app F6 ka button daba kar rakhay aur phir chor day .. jab boot complate hojay gi to drive kay liyah aik windows aajay gi so to app udher browser karkay driver day aur ok karday.........................kiyunkay sata 1 ki tamam harddisk ko Sata driver ki zarorat hoti hain...yah phir app win xp sp3 wali say boot karay maybe wo support karjay................
