Umeed hai k aap sab Allah k fazal say fit Shit hon gay? mera aik masla hai jaisa k aaj kal bijli waqat by waqat jati hai to iss say jahan aur dusri electronics k i cheezain harab ho rahi hain iss tarha meray system(PC) k saath b aik prob ho gai thi k bar bar bijli band honay ki waja say meray PC say Office hatam ho gaya phir usay repair karna para to main yeh puchna cahti hun k main apnay PC k saath extra HD laga k pehli HD say data ka backup kaisay lay sakti hun:donno: :mm:PLZ aap mari H3lp zarur krain with detail !

aur ager D drive main jis main windows install nahi hay to wo to crpt nahi ho sakti..

jo b file banain osy save ker k pher save as D main kar lia karian ya kisi aur drive main jis main windows install nahi hay...

Well ager sirf data ka back up kerna hai to simple D drive as khalil said mein Back Up Folder bana lein ya phir CD per write ker diya karein

Nowadays you there are alot of cheap Portable Hard Drives available. You can use many Databackup softwares but you will have to define what kind of files ( Periority bases ) are important and backup should be taken.

What you need to do is just connect your portable USB or Hard Drive ( or writeable DVD etc) and Run that Software wizard it will take back up automatically or keep connect that drive and set a timer (like every 1 hour ) it will take backup automatically. I think taking backup on same Hard Disk in other partition is not worth at all as Gurus says.

As Back up software , there is one built in xp n vista but there are many other you can find in markete. :).
