Who Could Be
He was Frenchman, in fact he was not French.
He was born at Ajaccio, Corsica on August 15, 1769. He qualified in military academy.
His first few years childhood there were a nightmare with the other children teasing him for his strange name and small size.
He was fond of oranges
He spent six years as a struggling soldier in an isolated outpost. He witnessed French Revolution, arrest of King Louis XVI, and slaughter of Guards, from this point he hated and feared the common people of France.
He was rewarded by a speedy promotion to brigadier-general and as commander of planning for the army of Italy. He was placed as second in command of the defense.
He become commander of the Army of Italy and achieved victories over the Italians, Austrians, Sardinians, Mondovi, Lodi, Milan, Castiglione and Arcola then he marched across the Alps toward Vienna. He attacked Austria and Russia. At 28 he established himself as the greatest French general. He invaded Egypt to cut off the Far East trade route between Britain and India.
He loved a very beautiful lady Josephine, the two were married on March 9, 1796. The second day of his married life, he left for war field, from Warfield he written many love letters to Josephine, but she betrayed him and was engaged with other army chiefs. He divorced her and married Maria Louisa of Austria.
He fought last battle at Waterloo. He was exiled to the rocky island a thousand miles of the African Coast St. Helena in south Atlantic. He spent there for six years, due to bad health on May 5th 1821 he died. He was buried with military honors. In 1840, his body and remains were removed to his beloved France
