Resume Writing

A little not extremely I tried to help some of our bro, sis how to prepare your resume, one of the most difficult parts in applying for a job.
The resume is a key part of the process because this is what will often get you an interview for a job. It is a statement of what you have done, what you can do and why you consider YOURSELF to be a strong candidate for the job.

• Highlight your experience, skills, qualifications and important accomplishments
• Communicate how you can contribute to a new department
• Distinguish you from others by showing your uniqueness

Make sure that you describe your work experience, skills and job knowledge, highlighting those things that you do well.

Be precise
Concentrate on what your actual responsibilities have been in each of the jobs you have done or held.

Be concise
Use brief notes to write specifically what the reader needs to know to appreciate the relevant facts about each job.

Be candid


Be consistent
Structure your resume in a way that is easy for the reader to follow.

Be comprehensive
Do not leave any significant periods of time unaccounted

Content
Name, address, contact data, Email and telephone
At top of first page, includes current work address, telephone, fax, E-mail address.

Career Objectives

• • reason for wanting to change job
  • what type of work/job looking for
  • interest in a specific field,
  • or applying for a specific job,
  • and reference information

Employment History
This is the most important part of a resume, so spend most of your time on this section. Include job titles, department name, include dates, positions held, and highlight skills and relevant accomplishments.

Education / Training
Indicate only the highest level of study or achievement.

Off course different countries have different format, but it is depend upon the candidate that how he/she gives an attractive & attentive profile in his/her resume.
