    Re: Study Guide

    Getting Started:

As you start on your studies you need to think carefully about the following things:

    Managing your Time, which involves:
    • finding time by planning out your week
    • using time effectively by doing work of different kinds in the most suitable time slots.
    Defining tasks for yourself, then:
    • allocating time to them, and
    • monitoring your progress as you attempt to complete them.
Setting up a place to study.
    • If you think you can't concentrate well at home, the calm and confortable environment of any nearby library would be a best option for you.
    Equipping yourself.
    • While studying I need certain things, highlighters, pen/pencil, blocnotes, post-it notes, a bottle of water and a bar of choclate.
Organizing things so that you can find them.
    • Clean up your bookshelf, file your notes etc. so that your are books and notes are in your hand.
    Exploring bookshops and libraries.
    • For any reference reading.
Sorting out arrangements with family and friends.
    • Don't hesitate to tell your friends and family your study hours, so that you may not get distracted by any occasional get-together.
    • If you need friends with whom you want to discuss any topics/projects you are working on--call them.
