Question ~ A dad and son are in a car accident and the dad dies instantly and the son gets sent to hospital...

The doctors have to operate on him, but one of the doctors turns around and says,

"I can't operate on him.... he's my son. "
Who was that Doctor??

The sentence "A dad and son " doesn't say "A dad and his son" or " a father and his son" so the two were not father and son together,but dad of anyone else and son of anyone else(the doctor).
