Separate Forums for Poets

Note: I have been discussing this topic with one of the administration team members and i wrote this to her in PM.. she suggested me to post it here... so it is...


Assalam-0-Alaikum Janab..
I appreciate that you count me as a poet and have created a separate forum for me... laikin dekhiye.. jab tak mera forum nahin bana tha aur mein yahiN (mein shayer tou nahin forum mein) post kerta tha poetry.. jab meri poetry mein jo replies hotay thay aur jo view count hota tha.. wo mulahiza karain.. ab jab mera apna separate forum hay. .aur aap pakar pakar ker meri poems uss mein move ker deiti hein tou ab k replies aur view counts dekh lein... I would suggest you and rest of your administration that ...

website users dislike the extra clicks... they can come to a central place to read the poems but most of them wouldn't like to click more and more to read individual poets... For me... its more important to get read.. rather than termed as a so called famous poet and not getting read... because i m not the one.. dekhein.. meri suggestion hay kay let the poets share their poetry in the central location.. ya'ani mein shayer tou nahin forum mein... and then on monthly basis... someone moves all the poems to the appropriate forum.. and leave a marker/pointer in the main forum... You can also give the poets rights to move their poetry to their respective forums whenever they want it to be there... but it depends if your forum software have such feature..

Sab sey pehley to mujhey ma'zrat kijiye keh aap ko bohat dino baad reply kar raha hoon. Main forum sey off raha hoon :) But I knew you were discussing this with one of my admins...

Lekin aik chhoti si baat hai keh hamari shuru sey khawahish rahi hai keh Pegham ko aik achhey tareeqey sey manage kiya jaey jahan har baat ka aik tareeqa ho, aik zabta ho, aik tarteeb ho - main ney kuchh forums dekhey hain jahan gadhey aur ghorey aik hi astable mein bandh diyey jatey hain aur aik be'tarteebi nazar aati hai. Main is be'tarteebi sey Pegham ko bachana chahta hoon :)

For me... its more important to get read.. rather than termed as a so called famous poet and not getting read... because i m not the one..

Mera andaza hai keh Web per likhney walon ki sab sey badi aarzu yehi hoti hai keh unhein ziyada sey ziyada visitor parhein - lekin Moin aap yeh dekhein aap ka apna sab sey pehla kaam kya hai? Aap ka kaam hai apni baat kehna. Jab aap apni baat kahein to woh zaroor suni jaey gi. Balkey mera khiyaal hai keh is tarha tarteeb deney sey jo log aap ko parhna chahtey hain unhein maloom ho ga keh Aik Lamha key section mein siraf Aik Lamha hi ki shairi hai aur kisi ki nahin. Is tarha unhein aap hi ka kalaam talash karney ki zaroorat nahin parrey gi, woh sab pehley hi sey aik section mein mojood ho ga. And doing as such is not meant that we alle in Main Shair To Nahin Hoon are socalled FAMOUS poets - but it's JUST A START to get there :)

Aap ki suggestion achhi hai magar masla kya hai? Masla yeh hai keh hamarey jitney bhi mods hain woh sab apni apni life mein busy hain, mostly of 'em are students or workers. In ko main ney aaj tak zabardasti kisi kaam key liye nahin kaha to main in per yeh bojh nahin daalna chahta keh woh aisa karein - yeh time demanding hai aur mashaAllah sey Pegham ab wussat pazeer hai to waqt key saath saath bohat kaam ho jaey ga.

You can also give the poets rights to move their poetry to their respective forums whenever they want it to be there... but it depends if your forum software have such feature..

There is a way of doing that - but I don't leave up to users to do mods work in forums :) - that's that!

Lekin yeh zahiri baat hai keh har kisi soch mukhtalif hoti hai - main aap ki soch sey itfaaq kartey huwey yeh kar sakta hoon keh jo jo members apna section nahin chahtey - unka section cancel kar sakta hoon aur woh apna kalaam main forum hi mein share kar dein - lekin I personally like keh Pegham apney sho'raa ko aik khaas muqaam dey :)

Aray koi baat nai... i understand... everybody has got their life and jobs associated with them...

mein aap ki kisi bhi baat se ikhtilaf nahin karoonga, kion k this is your forum.. and you have all the liberty to run it as per ur plans....

I just shared what i have learned in 7 years of my Software development experience and know how of computer users psychlogy ..The same thing i was going to tell u abt writers club.. u have very less traffic there as well...but it doesn't mean in any way that i want to push u to changed ur philosophy of how u see this community..

you have mentioned that there is a provision that we can get our separate forum cancelled. and this is enough for me..

Kindly cancel my forum and move all my poetry to the main forum...

Aray koi baat nai... i understand... everybody has got their life and jobs associated with them...

mein aap ki kisi bhi baat se ikhtilaf nahin karoonga, kion k this is your forum.. and you have all the liberty to run it as per ur plans....

I just shared what i have learned in 7 years of my Software development experience and know how of computer users psychlogy ..The same thing i was going to tell u abt writers club.. u have very less traffic there as well...but it doesn't mean in any way that i want to push u to changed ur philosophy of how u see this community..
