        Re: ~guide me~

        welcome to pg :rose

baqi baton ka to apko pata chal gaya now

let me tell u abot "blog"

The Community Blog module allows you (if the board administrator has given you permission) to create a personal BLOG (also known as weblog).

        Creating a Blog
In your User Control Panel (My Controls), you will see a Community Blog menu group. To create a Blog click on Blog Settings. When authorized you can create your Blog by agreeing to the Blog Terms and Rules. You will be asked to provide a name for your Blog and a description (optional). You are able to choose between a local and external Blog.
Local Blog: A Blog hosted on the board which includes all features to create entries, comments, content blocks, etc.
Link to external Blog: A link to a Blog which is hosted elsewhere.

When you click 'Finish' your Blog will be created.

        Blog settings
When you have an active Blog, there will be more settings available in the User Control Panel.
Your Blog Settings: Here you can setup your Blog, Customize the look of your Blog and create entry categories.
Content Block Settings: From this screen you can manage your content blocks (the little blocks of information that are displayed on the left or right side of your Blog page).
About Me Settings: From this screen you can enter information which will be displayed on your Blog's About Me screen.

        Community Blog List
When clicking on the 'Blogs' link on the links bar you will be taken to the Community Blog list page. This page displays all available Blogs with some information about them. Both external and internal Blogs are shown. The screen also includes some search and filter options. Clicking on a Blog's name will take you to that Blog.

Adding entries to your Blog (local Blogs only)
When you go to your Blog you have a special content block called 'Your Blog Options'. This contains links to manage your Blog. Click on Add Entry to add an entry to your Blog. You will be provided with a post form, including all the options you are used to when posting a topic in Invision Power Board. You can post the entry as Draft (not yet viewable by other members/guests) or Published (viewable by all who are allowed to view your Blog).

        Adding comments to Entries
When clicking on a Blog entry name or the comments link of an entry, you will be taken to the entry view page. This page contains a quick reply form, or you can click on the Add Comment button to be able to add a comment to the Blog entry.

This is all what blog meanings n the way how to create blog. well here at pg i don't have any blog so might b possbile here the blog setting can b little bit different :)

Have a good time here

              Re: ~guide me~

              Solution1
URL(Uniform Remote Locator) ka matlab yeh hay keh aap kisi resourse/file ya document ko locate karain numbers(ip address) kay through, har site ka ip address hota hay, lekin har aadmi kay liay har site ka ipaddress yaad rakhna mushkil hota hay too ipaddress ko decode(convert) kar dia jesay aap jab www.google.com likhti hain address bar mein aur enter karti hain too aap darasal google ka ipaddress likh rahi hoti hain jo keh decode hua hota hay.

              Solution2
Aap top left per dekhain too aap ko Your Notifications nazar aaiay ga uss par click karain

Ab aap left mein say Send New Message select karain

Ab aap iss page open ho ga uss mein aap Recipient mein username likhain jis ko aap msg kar rahi hain, title mein tile likhain aur Message mein msg likh kar neechay scroll karain aur Submit message par click karain, aap ka PM send ho giay ga

              Solution3

iss image ko Signature kehtay hain

solution2 mein jo 2nd image hay iss mein Edit Signature par click karain page open ho ga uss mein scroll down karain too aap ko Signature Picture ki window nazar aaiay gi, iss mein aap apnay computer say koi bhi picture browse karain, Upload par click karain aur Save Signature par click karain

                            Re: ~guide me~

Plz see below the literature about zip files. May be it could be helpful for you.

                            I. Introduction
                            Go to Top

Why ZIP Files? Many files which are available for download on the internet are stored as "ZIP" files. A ZIP file is a "compressed" format file. One or more original files can be compressed in size and then stored in a ZIP file. When the original files are needed, the user can "extract" the original files from the ZIP file using a ZIP file program. Storing files in the ZIP format provides two advantages for the person who downloads the file: (1) Several files (e.g., all of the files associated with a particular program) can be downloaded as one file, and (2) the files stored in a ZIP file are compressed, making the ZIP file smaller than the size of the uncompressed files, resulting in a faster download. The amount of compression varies depending on the type of original file being compressed. Word processor and database files often compress down to as little as 10 percent of their original size. Other types of files, such as some graphic image files, compress very little. When working with different types of files, an average of about 50 percent compression is typical.

ZIP File Programs. There are several programs that manage ZIP files for you. Using a ZIP file program allows you to extract the original files from a ZIP file and to create your own ZIP files. The first ZIP file program was "PKzip for DOS," by the late Phil Katz, the inventor of the ZIP format. It was written for the obsolete DOS operating system that runs on IBM-compatible computers. The tutorials in this web site will focus on PKzip for Windows, a Windows 95/98/NT program. PKzip for Windows comes in two versions: A licensed version that you must pay for and a shareware version. In this tutorial, we will use the shareware version.

Unzipping ZIP Files. The process of extracting the original files from a ZIP file is known as "unzipping" the ZIP file. Due to the many requests for guidance I have received from internet users who are unfamiliar with ZIP files, I have created a step-by-step tutorial (see part III) that explains how to use PKzip for Windows to unzip ZIP files. This web site also contains a tutorial on how to create your own ZIP files (see part IV). For information on advanced ZIP file topics, such as how password protect your ZIP files or how to create a ZIP file that spans multiple floppy disks, see part V of this tutorial.

How to Recognize a ZIP File. You can recognize a ZIP file by its file name extension of ".zip". For example, the file, "yowza.zip", is a ZIP file because the file's name ends in ".zip". (For more information on file name extensions, see part III, B, below.) Some ZIP files are "self-extracting," and will have a file name extension of ".exe". See part V for more information on self-extracting ZIP files.

What About Winzip? Why does this tutorial focus on PKzip for Windows instead of Winzip, another popular ZIP file utility? The answer is that I "grew up" using PKzip and I thus know how to use PKzip for Windows better than I know how to use Winzip. If you prefer to use Winzip for your ZIP file needs, you can find out more about Winzip at http://www.winzip.com.
