Those who in Believe in Allah
And those who Believe in Stars


[Sahih Bukhari : Book 1, Kitab Al-Iman , Number 132]
It is narrated on the authority of Zaid b. Khalid al-Juhani (Radi Allah Anhu): The Messenger of Allah (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) led the morning prayer at Hudaybiya. There were some marks of the rainfall during the night. At the conclusion of prayer he turned towards people and observed: Do you know what your Lord has said? They replied: Allah and His Messenger know best. Upon this he (the Holy Prophet (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam)) remarked: He (Allah) said: Some of My bondsmen entered the morning as My believers and some as unbelievers. He who said: We have had a rainfall due to the Blessing and Mercy of Allah, he is My believer and a disbeliever of stars, and who said: We have had a rainfall due to the rising of such and such (star) disbelieved Me and affirmed his faith in the stars.

[Sahih Bukhari : Volume 2, Book 13, Number 5]

Narrated Abu Said (Radi Allah Anhu) : I testify that Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu-alleihi-wasallam) said, "The taking of a bath on Friday is compulsory for every male Muslim who has attained the age of puberty and (also) the cleaning of his teeth with Siwak, and the using of perfume if it is available." Amr (a sub-narrator) said, "I confirm that the taking of a bath is compulsory, but as for the Siwak and the using of perfume, Allah knows better whether it is obligatory or not, but according to the Hadith it is as above.")
