Dari language is also known as Afghan Farsi and Afghan Persian. It is also known as court language of the Sassanids. Dari is actually a version of Persian language spoken in Afghanistan. Thats why it is also known as Afghan Persian in some areas. It is the term officially recognized and promoted by the Afghan government for the language.
