I am reading a book now a days by the name The Day That Turns Your Life Around by Jim Rohn. Its a book with lots of wisdom in a single book.

I have summarized the book in my own words and divided it in 6 parts. I will share them in this thread so do read it to change your life forever.

• There is nothing more important than a right idea at the right time.
• Beware of the thief that robs your purse but also be careful of the thief of the thief that robs your mind.
• If you can't find the conditions you want, create them yourself.
• It's possible to see the end and then begin.
• In 5 years you'll reach at a well designed destination or a undesigned destination.
• If you start early the fortune belongs to you.
• Destination is determined by direction.
• Most important phrase in our life "I don't want to live like this any more"
• I do is powerful line but Let's do it is more powerful.
• Its not what happens in your life, changes your future, its what you do with it, makes the difference.
• Don't wish for less problems, wish for more skills.
• Don't wish for less challenge, wish for more wisdom.
• Humans can do most remarkable things ever.

• Beware of what you become in pursuing what you want.
• Behold the opportunities, behold the success, behold your friends.
• The greatest source of unhappiness is self unhappiness.
• Be a student not a follower.
• Study, practice and teach.
• If you live well, you'll earn well.
• Care about the people!, its the greatest virtue of life.

Part 3

• You cam turn around and make your fortune, but not many people will do it.
• Make the kind of friends who you will meet when you come down again.
• Get something not because you need it but because you deserve it.
• Discipline your disappointed.

What to do with a dollar??

• Don't spent more than 70% of your dollar
• Leave 10% for charity.
• Leave 10% for saving.
• Leave 10% for investment.

Thats really a great thought, may ALLAH SWT grant us this much of wisdom to give away 10% in charity where people are not willing to pay even 2.5%. May ALLAH SWT light and guide our ways AMEEN

Part 4

• Fill your life with experiences and intensity of those experiences.
• Try to differentiate between major and minor communication. If you can to call someone and if its a major discussion, it will be better to jot things down first and then call him.
• Learn to say. Don't say NO directly say "I don't think so i can do this, but i will let you know if anything changes".
• Learn to think on paper. Write down your ideas, this will clear things more.
• Treasure we must leave behind
  • Your pictures
  • Natural library, in which you keep motivational and inspirational material
  • Your motivational notes.
  
  

Part 5

• Reasons make the difference. Everything has a reason, learn from it.
• Promise of the future is an awesome force, use it well.
• Things that effect us:
  • Our surroundings
  • Events
  • What we know or don't know
• Dreams and goals can become magnets.
• Celebrate your goals with your family.
• When the WHY gets stronger HOW gets weak.
• Purpose is stronger than object.
• Its not what you get that makes you valuable, its what you become that matters more.
• Be a man of good habits.

• Always do more of what you get paid for.
• Genius comes in strange packages.
• Don't ask what others can do for you, instead ask what you can do for others.
• Be kind but not weak.

That concludes my summary of the book and the things which i understood from the book. Hope you guys will learn something from it.
