You were there in my time of need,
always giving, not knowing the meaning of greed.
If I needed it, you'd give me your last dime.
Rich or poor, we've had such good times .
We did everything good friends should,
and treated one another as good as we could.
We comforted one another if we were sad,
and laughed with each other if we were glad.
I miss the times that we used to share,
