    And the Wind was Silent

So many nests of murmuring doves destroyed
    But the wind was silent
The great vastness of the sky mourned those wingless
    homeless birds
    but the wind was silent
The ruthless army hoisted its banner of death over this
    pink blossom of a land
    And the wind was silent
Eyes longed for brightness, heart waited for delieverness, hands raises in prayer
    All of them were fruitless
    But the wind was silent
And then the curse came to these lands, with the oppressive season of hell
    And with it this proclamation
As long as you treat this colour, this flight and this sound
The fragrance and this dream with contempt
The surely shall this curse fall upon these lands
