  • ~~!!~~Polling For Poem Competition~~!!~~

    Assalam O Aliukum,

So folks time came to choose the best shared poem on the topic
""SUNRISE"" .. lets see who is going to be the winner..
Be sincere with your votes. Thanks

    Moments of life

    treasured.
Life is shared in laughter and love.
    Love comes from the peaceful
    bliss of just being together.

    Sunrise or sunset
    It is a special event

    Sunrise and sunset
    -one and the same

    but, still connected
    in the cycle of life.

    Sunrise or sunset
    It is a cherished moment

    of being together
    like for a parent
    and a child.
    Sunrise and sunset
    Ever after to be remembered
    As a sunset too soon!
    And yet, treasured as a
    sunshine of love!

    Poem2:

    Sunrise

    as dawn stretches out;

    citrus blossoms of orange,
    lemon peel, and tangerine
    introduce the day.
    colbalt begins to invade,
    vanqusihing fruity heavens.
    cotton ball clouds sail,
    fowl sings in the firmament.
    two lover's yawn; "good morning".

    Yellowsky:

    Poem 1:

    Sunrise Visions

    Misty dawn, lilac sky,
    Weary spirits look up high.
    Early morn, brand new day,
    Rising sunlight brightens our way.

    Misty dawn, lilac sky,
    Each day your beauty maginified.
All the world is in its prime,
Each horizon yields a new springtime.

    Misty dawn, lilac sky,
Puffy white clouds float on by.
    Across the heavens eagles soar,
While far below the oceans roar.

    Misty dawn, lilac sky,
    All the earth must comply.
    Amber light, coming sunshine,
Time to sing praises to the Divine.

    Sumera:

    Poem1:
    ~``` Sunrise ```~

I sit and stare at the sunrise every morning.
And inside I cry for I can see it for all its wondrous beauty.
And pity the people to concerned with complaining and disagreeing
to look up and almost swear you can see
    God's marvelous face smiling back.

You can be happy or you can be depressed
but even the slightest glance at the morning sky
can fill you with unspeakable joy,
    that only God can give.
So share God's gift of love
with every one you meet and they will share it with others.

    Poem2:
    ~~ Sunrise of Hope~~

    breathing
    in all that's around you
    breathing
    out
all the sadness, fatique and pain
    breathing
    in the cold ocean breeze
    realizing
    the sun
    will make you smile again
    the sunrise
ushering in a whole new day
    breathing in
    the promise and hope
as the quiet of the dark of night
    slips away
    making way
for the sun rays of a whole new day
    smiles
    laughter
    embraces
    love and caresses
    all await along the pathway
    brightened
    by the warmth
    of the sunrise of hope
    breathe out
    all heartache
    melt away
    the sadness
    leave behind
    the dispair
    breathe in
    the warmth and light
    and smile again

    Poem1:
    Sunrise

    A Poem by:

    Jacqui Thornton

    The grey begins to fade,

As colour creeps from leaf to limb.

The light is slowly seeping up,

From beneath the earth's curved rim.

    The sky blue strengthens slowly,

Glazed with hues of orange and red.

    Slowly as the earth revolves,

The sun lifts up it's head.

    Colours shimmer in the light

    And shapes begin to unveil.

    The trees and flowers separate,

With the dawn light rosy and pale.

The sun climbs higher in the sky.

    It's light shimmering and warm.

All things now are clearly seen.

A new day has been born.

    Mussadaq:

    Poem1:

    Every sunrise is a present,
    A gift from God above,
    Gift-wrapped with scarlet ribbons,
    Tied with bows of love.

    Each day's a new beginning,
    A time to start anew,
While all the stars are sleeping,
The rose is fresh with dew.

    Each day's a new creation,
    Too lovely to ignore,
    We may find a blessing,
    Just outside our door.

    We cannot keep the past,
    Like fireflies in a jar;
    Nor journey to the future,
    By wishing on a star.

    Every sunrise is a blessing,
    A gift for just today,
    Rejoice my friend,
Embrace it before it fades away!
