A WINTER DAY
The gray clouds drift slowly in the winter sky,
The white snow glistens like miniature diamonds in the sun,
The trees stand unmoving like sentinels on guard,
It's a cold winter day and the children are having fun.

The laughter of children playing in the snow can be heard
Sledding or making a snow man, it is fun for all of them,
A cold winter day brings fun for all the children
While adults might ski or ice-skate too, Amen.

But you must be careful not to fall on snow covered ice,
Breaking a leg or arm or getting hurt
