WAQT-E-FURQAT



Yeh waqt-e-furqat kitna kathin hai meri jaaN

Hoga mushkil maanaa tha, magar itnaa mushkil

Socha bhi naa thaa



Woh chaNchal si khilkhilahat

Woh tumhari maNd maNd si muskaan

Woh tumharay badan say aatay bahaar kay jhoNkay

Woh tumhaari saadgi maiN daanaai kay imkaan



Woh tumhaaraa meri baahoN maiN duniya ko bhool jaanaa

Woh behtay ashkoN maiN laraztay laboN ka muskuraanaa



Woh tumhaari pal pal ko shiddat say jeenay ki chaah

Woh tumhaari nazar maiN phool say komal khwaaboN ki raah



Woh tumhaari dabdabaai aaNkhoN maiN unkahayay swaal

Woh tumhaaray ghanay dasht say gasuoN ka jmaal



Woh tumhaaray hoNthoN ka tilsmee khumaar

Woh tumhaaraa mujh par beloss aitbaar



Bahut yaad aataa hai yeh sub meri jaaN

Aur yaad aataa hai bahut tumhaaraa woh-

Zabardast - Brijinder ji aap bohat arsey baad aaey hain magar aik zabardast kalaam key saath - bohat achha laga yeh parh ker - khush rahiye aur mazeed sharing zaroor kijiye ga :)

Masood n Yaaram,
I am thankful to both of yoy for the beautiful words of appreciation.I was away to India for abt 6 weeks.Got two books published-one children poetry n ther other urdu poetry but both in devnagri(hindi)script.

What a pleasant surprise - it's a very huge news keh aap ki books published hui hain, to yaqinan aap ko bohat umdah response mila ho ga. Main aik muddat sey soch raha tha keh aap kahan chaley gaey hain - well once again welcome back :)

Thanx for the mail.Infact I had stopped visiting this site as I was observing that my poems were no longer read.So I felt it just an ego excercise for me n waste of time for my self n waste of space for you.But I am thankful that this poem di manage to evoke some good response.

I am not at all happy to have read these comments Brijinder ji. If you had done this, I personally had lost the pioneer I day after day look up to - no matter I don't reply in every post - but do belive me I read them and try to get something new and refreshing from you poems ... you were about to break a heart..

Oh Uzma ! It was a pleasant surprise finding u here and also coz I had not heard from u since ages.
It is only deidcated admirers you and many others on different sites that keep my spirits high.And thanx a lot for the congrats on my books.
Can u or someone else give me the e-mail addresses of some very prominent urdu poets BUT not of the so-called caretakers of the litrature plz.?

well regarding poet's email address i will have to find out but it will take definatly time as such now a days i m not in karachi i m in abu dahbi from last 2 months and i dont knw how long i m gonna stay here but any way i will try to find out some 4 u insha Allah.

This is my request to all other members as well that if they can get me the e-mail addresses of some very good poets WHo dont think that poetry starts n ends with only wazan n behar but just one kind of its expression.
