  • Andheri raat aur girti he bijli dour kaheeN bar bar

    Yaaddoon Ke channar

Andheri raat aur girti he bijli dour kaheeN bar bar
Betha khiDki ke tale kerte hein sergoshiyan yaaddoon ke channar

Ansoon beh rahe hein meri ankoon se isterha
Jese behete hein pahaDoon mein aabshar

Ghuzri sari zindagi apne aaram ke liaye
Fikr na ki doosroon ki ay perverdigar

Kitna maghroor tha ke bharosa kiya mazhab per
Jab ke hikmat sikhati he insaniyat her bar

Na bikherne deta unko mukhtalif mazahib mein Tafseer
Gar janta insaan ke hum sab hein motioon ka ek haar

Re: Andheri raat aur girti he bijli dour kaheeN bar bar

          Hi Haya,

My own interpretation of this misra:

"I was so arrogant that I trusted religion to solve problems of humanity"

If we look at the history of religion. It seems that although they consist of similar principal, but each one has their own twist to separate them from each other. In my understanding, they are not different. History shows us that religions were good for individuals, tribes and countries, but not for human being as a whole entity. Religions create separations not unity in human. Their will never be a single religion to take place of all.

I hope I am not offensive to any person, religion or philosophy. This just makes sense to me.

          Shukria again
