    Thahraa huaa manzar hai k maatam hai nazar kaa...merii ek puraanii Ghazal

    1.
    ik mauj-e-balaa_khez samandar se uThii hai
    saahil pe vohi chiiz jo paanii meN dabii hai

    2.
    mehtaab kii kirnoN se sadaa phooT ke niklii
    ghabra ke uThaa huN ki zamiiN TuuT rahii hai

    3.
    sab kuchh hai usii tarHa, vohii faasle kal ke
    ma'luum nahiiN aaj bhi kia ham meN kamii hai

    4.
    uRtaa hua guzra huN sar-e-jaada-e-asraar
    ik khowaab kii duNyaa meN mirii aaNkh khulii hai

    5.
    dekha jo bulaNdi se to manzil ka dhuaaN tha
    chaTTaan se utraa huN to diivaar khaRii hai

    6.
    Thahraa huaa manzar hai k maatam hai nazar ka
    jo 'aks hai aaNkhoN meN jali haii na khafii hai

    7.
    maazii ne teh-e-khaak kiya hai tujhe, "Sheroo!"
    takhtii jo tire 'ahd kii marqad pe lagii hai
