    main khud bhi sochta hun mera kya ye haal hai
    jiska jawaab chahiye wo kya sawaal hai

    ghar se chala to dil ke siwa paas kuchh na thha
    kya mujhse kho gaya hai mujhe kya malaal hai

    phir koi khwab dekhun koi aarju karoon
    aye dil-e-tabaah tera kya khayaal hai

                mey ho gaya tabah mera dil haal hai

                likhna thah jub report hawaldar ne bhi
                nikal terey paas, jithna maal hai

                rasmi-pitaee bhi ada ho gaeei iss bath pe
                thaney bhi tu aatha hai aur kangaal hai

                mey tho lut gaya khuda kahan jaaoun
                jeb bhi kangal aur nazak bhi mera haal hai

                phaer lien aankhen meri maashooq ne ye dekhh kar
                thah fida her chaal pe theri ye konsi chaal hai
