Matar Pulao Recipe
Serves 4

Also called Pea Pulao, this pulao is delicious and has a mild and different flavour. Serve with Cucumber Raita.
Ingredients:
2 cups Sona masuri rice
4½ cups Water
3 tbsp Oil
½ cup Fresh green peas
1 tsp Cumin seeds (Jeera)
Turmeric powder
Salt
Method:
Soak the rice for 15 min.
Heat oil in pressure cooker and add jeera.
Once the jeera starts spluttering add the green peas. Stir it for 2 min.
Add rice, turmeric powder, salt and stir for some more time.
Add water and pressure cook for 5 min.
Serve hot
