        Balushahi



        Ingredients


        750 gms. Sugar
        1 cup water to make syrup
        500 gms. Maida (if self raising flour is used soda is not required)

        200 gms. Ghee for frying
        1 tbs. yogurt
        1 tsp. baking powder
        Orange food color


        Instructions


        Mix sugar and water and cook to make syrup.
        Mix other ingredients (except ghee) and water adequate to roll.
        Make small patties and fry on low heat. Soak in syrup briefly and let the syrup covering on the balushahi dry.

        Serving: Enough for 10 persons

          Baked French Toast


          Ingredients

          1/2 cup cream
          1 cup sugar
          1 tsp nutmeg
          1 tsp cinnamon
          loaf of French bread
          2 cups milk
          2 tsp vanilla
          3 tbsp butter
          8 eggs

          Method

          Butter a 9x13 baking dish. Cut French bread slices diagonally and place in the baking pan. In a large bowl, beat together eggs, one and a half cups of milk, cream, nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over bread, cover and refrigerate overnight.

          In the morning, heat butter, half a cup of milk and sugar till they form bubbles. Pour over bread and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Cut pieces and serve hot.

            Banana Cake


            Cooking Time: 60-65 minutes

            Serves 16

            Ingredients:

            Ripe Bananas 500 gm
            Eggs 4
            Castor Sugar 1 1/3 cup
            oil 3/4 cup
            self raising flour2 3/4 cup
            baking soda 1/2 tsp

            Method:
            1-Mash the bananas with a fork.
            2-Beat bananas along with the eggs.
            3-Add sugar and beat. add oil and keep beating.
            4-Sift self raising and add to the mixture and keep beating.
            5-In the end, sprinkle baking soda and fold the mixture with a spatula until it is well mixed.
            6-Pour the mixture in the greased 12 inch cake pan.
            7-Bake in a preheated oven on 160 celcius for one hour or until tooth pick inserted comes out clean.

              Almond And Coconut Fudge

              Cooking time: As Required

              Serves: 6-8

              Ingredients :

              1 cup condense milk (sweet)
              100 gm dates
              1 cup coconut ground
              12 biscuits (glucose)
              2 onz butter white
              50 gm almond

              Method

              1-
              Biscuit ko powder ki tarhaan tor lain hath se ab is ko butter main mix kerlain dates ko bareek kaat lain almond bhi kaat lain pissa hua coconut bi.
              2-Ab in teenon ko mix kerlain ab kisi flat plate ko greece karain aur is amazay koplate per phailain is mottai tandoor ki roti jitny hony chahye hulkay haath se pani laga laga ker phailadain aur pre heated oven main 15 mins tak rukh dain jab tayar hojaye baher nikal ker pieces kerlain.

                THAI CHICKEN W/PASTA
                Ingredients

                Chicken Boneless 3Lbs.
                Olive Oil (as needed)
                Pasta (Preferbly Spinach. but any pasta will do)
                Coconut Milk
                Crushed Red pepper
                Cilantro (Hara Dhanya)
                Cashew Nut
                Salt as needed

                Cooking Method



                Heat the Wok and through the chicken in the Wok, add coconut milk, cashew and crushed pepper. Cock it until the sauce become mild thick, add pasta in the wok and remote it within one minute. Garnish with Cilantro and enjoy.

                  Apple Bread Pudding

                  Cooking time : 50 minutes

                  Serves 4-6

                  Ingredients


                  4 or 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
                  1 cup brown sugar
                  8 ounce bread, sliced
                  2 Golden Delicious apples, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch dice
                  3 cups milk
                  3 eggs
                  1 teaspoon vanilla extract

                  Method




                  Black forest cake

                  IngredientsFor icing

                  1 tin cherry
                  1 tin pineapple (optional)
                  1 packet cream
                  1 bar of bitter chocolate
                  4 tbsp icing sugar

                  Method



                  Marble cake

                  Ingredients

                  1cup sugar
                  1 tbsp drinking chocolate
                  1 tsp vanilla essence
                  2 cups flour
                  2 tsp baking powder
                  3 tsp milk
                  3 eggs
                  3/4 cup oil

                  Method

                  Beat oil, sugar and egg, and add vanilla essence to the mixture. Sieve flour and baking powder (thrice) and add to the mixture. Add milk as well. Separate 1/3 quantity of the mixture and add drinking chocolate to it. Grease the pan and sprinkle flour. Pour the mixture alternately to form different layers. Bake in a pre-heated oven for 40 to 45 minutes




                  Chocolate mousse

                  Ingredients


                  1 tbsp cocoa powder
                  1/2 tsp vanilla essence
                  1/2 cup fresh cream
                  1/4 cup milk
                  1 tbsp gelatin powder (dissolved in 1/4 cup of water)
                  2 tbsp butter
                  3 eggs
                  4 oz chocolate
                  6 tbsp castor sugar

                  Method


                  Melt butter in a pan; add chocolate, milk and cocoa powder. Stir till it becomes thick. Beat eggs with castor sugar till stiff, add essence. Fold it with the chocolate mixture, dissolved gelatin and whipped cream. Freeze and decorate with chocolate chips.

                    Gool Guppay

                    Ingredient

                    For Gool Guppay
                    - 1 cup white flour
                    - 1 cup fine semolina (suji)

                    Khuta Pani


                    - 1\2 tsp. red chili powder (optional)
                    - 1/2 bunch fresh mint leaves
                    - 1 bunch fresh coriander.
                    - 1 heaped tsp. cumin (zeera)
                    - Salt to taste
                    -1 tsp. black salt (kala namak)
                    -2-3 glasses of Water
                    -2-3 green chilies
                    -1/2" piece fresh or dry (sonth) ginger
                    -4 oz Tamarind (remove seeds)
                    Stuffing:
                    - 1 cup chick peas
                    - 2-3 medium potatoes
                    - 2 cups plain yogurt
                    1. Mix the white flour and sujji and kneed into a hard dough. Cover the dough with a wet cloth and keep aside for at least two hours. Divide the dough into four pieces. With a rolling pin Flatten each piece into a VERY thin sheet and cut into 2 inches circles with a cookie cutter.
                    2. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan. Deep fry each circle until it is puffed and golden in color.
                    3. Blend all the ingredients for the dip together in a blender for few seconds and strain. Reserve the liquid.
                    4. Boil the chick peas and potatoes. Cut the potatoes into small dices.
                    5. Put the chick peas, potatoes, yogurt, and sweet Imli chutney in separate serving dishes.
                    6. Serve gool guppay with sweet imli chutney, peas, potatoes and yogurt.
                    Now if you new to this world famous Pakistani snack and not sure how to have it then here is how eat them.
                    Get hold of a gool gupa, make a hole on the top by pressing it with your thumb. Stuff in some chick peas and potato, dip it in khuta pani and umm... yummy yummy!
                    You can also try with sweet dip and yogurt but I prefer with khata pani.

                      4 chicken breasts boneless (with skin) 1/2 TSP AGINAMOTO 1/2 TSP SALT 1/2 TSP WHITE PEPPER 1/2 TSP MUSTARD PASTE 2 WASTER SHINE SAUCE FOR BATTER:- 3 TBSP MAIDA I TBSP CORNFLOUR 1 EGG 1/2 TSP BAKING POWDER 1 TBSP MILK (MIX AND MAKE THE BETTER)

                      Cooking Method


                      MARINATE THE CHICKEN WITH AGINAMOTO,SALT,WHITE PEPPER,WASTERSHINE SAUCE AND MUTARD PASTE TILL 1/2 IN HOUR.THEN DIP IN THE BETTR AND ROLL IN THE HALF CUP OF FLOUR AND THREE TYPES OF CRUMBS (CHIPS,BREAD,MAIDA).
                      CUT THE BUNS IN HALFS .APPLY MAYONAISE,PUT SALAD LEAVES,FREID CHICKEN PIECE 1TBSP MAYYONAISE ON TOP AND THEN COVER WITH OTHER HALF OF THE BUN
