    EID MUBARAK 2 ALL PG MEMBERS:phool:

    October k liye humne Eid ki munasibat se sweet dish competition rakha tha Mashallah se sab ne bohut achi recipes share kin kuch new members ne bhi participate kiya, unhey Pegham ki taraf se teh dil se Khush Amdeed, umeed hai k wo agay bhi hissa leinge :)

    SHEER KHURMA

    INGRIENDIENTS:
    Milk (doodh) 1 liter
    Condensed milk 1 small can
    vermecilli (swayayan) half packet
    sugar if needed
    illaichi 3 to 4
    dry dates (chohary) 3-4 bareek katay howey
    pista badam as required for garnishing

    doodh ko illaichi daal ker achi tara sey ubal lein......ho sakay tu halki anch per kuch der tak pakney dein......condensed milk dal ker thori der tak pakayein....meetha check ker lein agar zaroorat ho tu sugar add ker lein.....waisay eik liter milk key liye eik small can condensed milk ka kafi hota hai.....chohary n badam bareek katay howey mix ker dein......phir swayan dal ker thori der tak pakayein......chamcha masalsal halatay rahein......kisi bowl mein dal ker pista badam sey garnish kerein aur achi tara thanda ker key paish kerein.....

        Gajar (Carrot) ka Halwa:
        Ingredients
        • 1 Cup ghee
        • 3 Peeled choti ilaichi
        • 2 Kg carrots
        • 1 Tsp zafran
        • Almonds & Pistachios
        • 1/4 Cup oil
        • 1 & 1/2 Cup sugar
        • 1 Kg milk
        Directions
        Wash the carrots and grate fine. Blanch and chop almonds and pistachio and crush ilachi. Mix zafran in 1 tbsp water. Boil the milk and add carrots, stir carefully and cook slowly till milk is almost absorbed. Add sugar, dry fruit and cook till mixture is nearly dry. Then add the melted ghee gradually and fry till rich brown. Now add ilachi and zafran and cook till ghee separates.
        Shahi Tukra:
        Ingredients
        • Oil for deep frying
        • 175 Gms khoya
        • 50 Gms almonds ground
        • 1/2 Tbsp ghee
        • 8 Slices bread diagonally cut in half
        • Almonds and pistas slivered
        • Saffron
        • 175 Gms sugar
        • 750 Ml milk
        Directions

        Trim the crusts from the bread and deep-fry till golden. Soak the fried bread in milk, turning it once. Strain and reserve the milk, keep the bread aside. Put the strained milk in a saucepan alongwith the khoya, sugar, ground almonds, saffron and ghee. Cook till you have a thick mixture. Cover the base of a shallow baking tray with some of this mixture. Spread the slices of bread on top. Cover the bread with the remaining milk mixture. Sprinkle nuts on top. Bake in a pre-heated oven mark no.4 / 350 degrees F /180 degrees C for 15 - 20 minutes.



        Besan Ke Laddo:



        Ingredients
        • Ghee 1 pao
        • Sugar 1/2 kg
        • Choti ilachi 1 tsp
        • Besan 1/2 kg
        • Pista thinly sliced
        • 1/4 Cup oil
        • Kewra 1 tbsp
        • Yellow colour
        Directions

        In 1/2 kg sugar put 1 cup water and make syrup. Remove from fire and keep on stirring. When it gets cold it will become like sugar. Grind it or seive it. In a pan put besan and ghee and cook on slow fire. Cook for atleast 1/2 hour, when it is bhuno well and a scent comes out put yellow colour, choti ilachi and pista. When it gets cold, mix besan and sugar well and make balls.

          Choclate Fudge
          Ingredients:

          1.Pineapples.......................2 Tinpacks
          2.Candy biscuits..................1 Family Pack
          3.Cream.............................1 Packet

          Method:

          1.Take candy biscuits and crush into very small peices.
          2.Take a bowl and spread a thick layer of candy biscuits.
          3.Spread a thin layer of cream over it and place small pieces of pineapple.
          4.Spread a thin layer of cream again.
          5.Spread a thick layer of candy biscuits at top and decorate with pineapples.
          6.Refrigerate for half an hour and serve.


          COFFE CAKE
          COCONUT PUDDING
          Ingredients :
          1/3 cup un sweet coco powder
          3/4 cup sugar
          2 tbsp cornstarch
          2 tbps flour
          1/4 tsp salt
          2 cup milk
          2 tbsp butter
          1 tsp vanilla essence
          2 egg yolks (slightly beaten)


          Method :

          1-In a medium sauce pan combine coco, sugar, cornstarch , flour & salt. Blend in milk & egg yolks stir & cook on medium heat.
          2-After the mixtures boils, stir 1 minute. Remove from heat, blend in butter & vanilla & pour into bowl.
          3-Place plastic wrap directly on the surface of the pudding & cool in refrigerator.


          Fruit Pudding
          Ingredients :
          fresh cream one packet
          banana 12
          grapes half kg
          dates 1 pao
          sugar 1 cup (its up 2 u if want less amount of sugar u take half cup)
          yogurt 3 table spoon

          Method:
          1-Beat cream and sugar first n when both things mix well.
          2-Then cut bananas and dates and put it in the cream then takes grapes (us kay dandee nikkal kar ) put it in the cream.
          3-And in the end take yogurt beat it n put it in the cream.
          4-yummy desert is ready serve when its cool.
