                  "Sweet Bee" Facial Mask

Get an old empty plastic facial "tub" of some sort.
Mix approximately 2 tablespoons of finely granulated sugar
                  1 tbl. spoon honey
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
                  2 teaspoons of lemon juice

Apply to freshly washed face, LIGHTLY apply to face in circular finger-tip motions for about 30 seconds, (avoiding under eye area), leave on from 5-15 min. (you will discover your own appropriate time after 1st time).

This is an excellent treatment, leaves skin soft, supple, clean (lemon juice).

                      Homemade Hair Spray

Chop one lemon (or an orange for dry hair). Place in a pot with 2 cups water. Boil until half of the initial amount remains. Cool, strain, and place in a spray bottle. Store in the refrigerator. If it is too sticky, add more water.

                        White Nails

To whiten your nails, try these:
                        * Use a common whitening toothpaste. Try scrubbing your nails with Pearl Drops, it's just as easy as achieving a pearly white smile and will take away any stains and shine up your nails.

                        * Soak your nails in water with lemon juice or lemon slices. The lemon acts as an astringent and will strip away stains. Once your hands are dry, you'll only need to put on a couple of coats of a clear topcoat.

                          A Natural Way To Exfoliate

Sea salt removes dry, flaky, dead skin.
Wet face (or anywhere on the body), apply a couple of tablespoons of sea salt, then GENTLY massage with a wet washcloth or fingers.
Focus on the T-zone and cheeks, but avoid the eye area. After one or two minutes, rinse with cold water to tighten the pores.

It is important to do this regularly, or face-creams will not penetrate.
You can do this maximum once per week.

                                Ayurvedic Face Brightner

This is a ancient well known recipe used by many woman of indian/asian origin. It's used to brighten the complexion as well as lighten dark spots due to pimples. It really works!

                                1 tbs of Lemon juice
2 Tlb of Gram flour* (ground chick pea) purchased at a indian/Health shop.
Milk-enough to make a thick paste.
*Optional-1/2 tspTurmeric powder, can also be purchased at a indian/arabic/health shop *(this may cause a slight yellow tint on light skin)

Combine all ingredients to form a thick paste, apply to face and and let it sit for 5-6 mins. or until semi-dry. Slightly massage and Rinse off with luke warm water and finish off with a cold splash. The flour particles act as a fine exfoliater, lemon as a brightner, milk as a Softner, and the turmeric is used for it's antispetic properties and for toning medium to dark skin.

-A subsitute for the Gram Flour can be Regular Flour, but the end results may vary.
