The Village Mosque In Its Simplest Form

Villages along the NIger River each have their own mosque, often in very elaborate form, but sometimes only as simple as the structure seen here. The architectural features remain the same, however - earthen construction, a wall around a courtyard and the vertical protrusions along the perimeter of the building.
