These people figured out some way of doing an incredibly distorted drawing so that when they stood a reflective cylinder in the middle of it the reflection showed the picture as intended.

This lady used some sort of sparkly stuff to pick out some of the highlights. In the setting sun it made a nice effect but some people felt it was cheating to use anything but chalk.

Several artists try and do drawings of the street painting festival itself. This was a very effective trompe l'oeil of an angel handing a girl a paintbrush. The girl in the upper right is part of the drawing, not a real person.
