بچپن کے دُ کھ کتنے اچھے تھے

گرميوں ميں جب سب گھر والے سو جاتےتھے
دھوپ کي اُنگلي تھام کے ہم چل پڑتے تھے
ہميں پرندے کتنے پيار سے تکتے تھے
ھم جب ان کے سامنے پاني رکھتے تھے
موت ہميں اپني اّ غوش ميں چھپاتي تھي
قبرستان ميں جا کر کھيلا کرتے تھے
رستے ميں اِک ان پڑھ دريا پڑتا تھا
جس سے گزر کر پڑھنے جايا کرتے تھے
جيسے سورج اّ کر پياس بجھائے گا
صبح سويرے ايسے پاني بھرتے تھے
اُڑنا ھم کو اتنا اچھا لگتا تھا
چڑياں پکڑ کر اُن کو چوما کرتے تھے
تتلياں ہم پر بيٹھا کرتيں تھيں
ھم پھولوں سے اتنے ملتے جلتے تھے
ملي تھي يہ جواني ھم کو رستے ميں
ھم تو گھر سے بچپن اوڑھ کے نکلے تھے


بچپن کے دُ کھ کتنے اچھے تھے
تب تو صرف کھلونے ٹوٹا کرتے تھے
وہ خوشياں بھي جانے کيسي خوشياں تھيں
تتلي کے پر نُوچ کے اُچھلا کرتے تھے
مار کے پاؤں ہم بارش کے پاني ميں
اپني ناؤ آپ ڈبويا کرتے تھے
چھوٹے تھے تو مِکرو فريب بھي چھوٹے تھے
دانہ ڈال کے چڑيا پکڑا کرتے تھے
اب تو اِک آنسو بھي رُسوا کر جائے
بچپن ميں جي بھر کے رُويا کرتے تھے
خُوشبو کے اُڑتے ہي کيوں مرجھايا پھول
کتنے بھولے پن سے پوچھا کرتے تھے
کھيل کود کے دن بھر اپني ٹولي ميں
رات کو ماں کي گُود ميں سويا کرتے تھے
