AAMAAL OF SHAB-E-MERAJ

On 27th Rajab (40 Aamul Feel) the Holy Prophet (PBUH) made known to the people his mission of Prophet hood.
The 27th is therefore, a highly blessed night.

• Take a bath and put on clean clothes.
• Give alms in the way of Allah.

After the salaam recite each of the following Soorahs 7 times:
i.Al faatihah
ii.Al Ikhlaas
iii.Al Falaq
iv.An Naas
v.Al Kafiroon
vi.Al Qadr
vii.Aayatul Kursee

Mairaj is an important event in the life of the Holy Prophet(PBUH). Allah carried His Prophet by the night (night between26th and 27th of Rajab) from Masjid Al Haram in Makkah to Masjid Al Aqsa in Jerusalem, where he prayed with the souls of all the Prophets of Allah. He also saw Sidra tul Muntaha and Heavens.
Mairaj is a great miracle of the Holy Prophet(PBUH) and he was awarded with many gifts including Salat. Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) loved his umat so much that he did not forget them at the moment when Allah was awarding him with Blessings and Gifts. He asked Blessings and Gifts for his umat as well so Allah awarded Mairaj for momineen in the form of Salat, thats why Salat is called Mairaj of Momineen.
