                    Re: England v New Zealand

Anderson to Ali, OUT, back of a length and pulled leg side, Moeen hasn't got all of this and picks out deep square leg that is a bad way to go when well set, holing out into the deep and providing New Zealand with some much-needed respite. Nice knock from Moeen but not enough England will feel but he's set up a nice platform

                    MM Ali c McClenaghan b Anderson 36 (23b 6x4 1x6) SR: 156.52

                          Re: England v New Zealand

McClenaghan to Lumb, OUT, full delivery driven into the off side, not timed and it squirts down to third man, in comes Anderson with a dive and takes the catch diving down low, another fine catch from Anderson, that was not easy at all against the floodlights and dewy grass. A second set England batsman goes

                          MJ Lumb c Anderson b McClenaghan 33 (24b 4x4 1x6) SR: 137.50

                          :out:

                              Re: England v New Zealand

Lumb's dismissal is a disaster for England. They needed to keep a set batsman at the crease. Now they have two new batsmen, the run rate falls, the pressure builds and the wickets fall. It's happened many a time before.
