Ever since making his Test debut for Pakistan in 2000, Younis Khan has been a vital cog in the top order. He had all the makings of a great Test player - solid defense, patience and elegant stroke-play. These are the key aspects of any Test batsman and Younis had them in abundance. Today, in the first Test against Bangladesh at Chittagong, Younis Khan went past 6000 Test runs, becoming only the fourth Pakistan player after Javed Miandad, Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Yousuf to go past that landmark.
