The day has belonged completely to Pakistan. They lost Hafeez immediately after lunch, but since then, Umar and Azhar Ali have put together a superb century partnership. Umar notched up his century while Azhar notched up a gritty fifty. The Sri Lankan bowlers looked jaded and it looks like an epic struggle for them. They did not help their cause by bowling a large number of no-balls. Pakistan will be looking to extend their advantage tomorrow while Sri Lanka will be hoping to take some quick wickets.
