The second one-day international between New Zealand and Pakistan in Queenstown was washed out due to heavy rain.
In all, 4.2 overs were bowled after New Zealand won the toss and elected to field after the match got under way one hour behind the scheduled time in a contest reduced to 48 overs a side.
Pakistan were 31 for no loss when the skies opened up once again, forcing players to return to the pavilion.
Ahmed Shehzad was 25 not out and Mohammad Hafeez unbeaten on four.
After hours of delay the match was finally abandoned.
