GRP B mein SRL,BAG,UAE.....

so what do u think..which team will win this time....

How Pakistan can qualify in Final of Asia Cup.

After the first Round-Robin Stage, India has emerged as a strong candidate to qualify for Final of Asia Cup 2008. I have been reading posts of members and even hearing some experts on TV saying that Pakistan needs to win all the 3 Matches to qualify for Final but its not like that, Pakistan can qualify by winning 2 Matches too on basis of NRR. Right now India and Sri Lanka have 2 Points each and Bangladesh and Pakistan have 0 Points each. Below I am gonna put some cases, Provided Bangladesh lose all the 3 Matches, which can illustrate Pakistan's qualification in Final of Asia Cup.

Case 1
India wins all the 3 Matches and Pakistan beats Sri Lanka. In this case, India will qualify with 8 Points whereas Pakistan and Sri Lanka will tie on 4 Points each and a team with better NRR will qualify for Final. Good thing for Pakistan is that, Pakistan's last match is against Bangladesh so Pakistan would already know that how much Runs they need to score to qualify for Final.

Case 2
Sri Lanka wins all the 3 Matches and Pakistan beats India. This case would be similar to Case 1 only change would be that Sri Lanka will replace India's position.

Case 3
Pakistan beats Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka beats India and India beats Pakistan. In this case, Pakistan would be disqualified because India and Sri Lanka will have 6 Points each whereas Pakistan will have 4 Points. So India and Sri Lanka will qualify.

So lets hope that one team, Either India or Sri Lanka, Wins all the 3 Matches of second stage. It would make Pakistan's qualification much easier.
