Pakistan beat Japan in the Kabaddi event of the 15th Asian Games being played in Doha. Pakistan overcame Japan by 34 points to 16. Pakistan were leading by 23 points to 6 at the first half. Pakistan beat India by 183 runs
ISLAMABAD: In third blind Cricket World Cup, the defending champion Pakistan defeated Saturday its traditional rival India by 183 runs. This was its consecutive third victory.
England and Australia also won their respective matches.
In F9 Park here, winning the toss, India invited Pakistan to bat first. Pakistani team was all out in the last over with 363 runs to its credit.
Mohammed Akram and Amir Ashfaq scored 101 and 54 respectively. While, Indian team could score only 180 runs with Rajindar Verma at 34.
From Pakistani side, Amir Ashfaq and Noor Quresh bowled out two players each.
England defeated West Indies by nine wickets. West Indies could make only 127 runs and was all out. England hit the requisite target in 19th over on the loss of one wicket.
In another match, Australia got victory over Sri Lanka by three wickets.Comment
