Adaab,Shayed mein ney isse forum mein is baray mein parha tha.Yay Mcdonald`s ka response hay.Mujhay tu yay Haram lagein,ap ka keya khyal hay? Thank you for taking the time to contact McDonald's. We truly appreciate this opportunity to respond to your comments. It is important to note that McDonald's voluntarily provides nutrition and ingredient information on its products, and we have always followed Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines for labeling to be consistent with other U.S. food retailers and packaged goods who provide nutrition and ingredient information. However, some customers have told us they want more information about our products than what we previously provided. So now, in our nutrition materials, we are including the source of our "natural flavorings." For core menu products in the U.S., customers are now able to find out if a natural flavor comes from a meat, vegetable or dairy source. This updated Nutrition Facts Brochure is available in our U.S. restaurants and on our website at: http://www.mcdonalds.com/app_control...index.htmlWith regard to our French fries, any customer in the U.S. who contacts McDonald's Corporation to ask if they contain beef flavoring is told "yes." For flavor enhancement, in the U.S., McDonald's French fry suppliers use a very small amount of beef flavor as a natural flavoring during the par-frying process at the potato processing plant. In the restaurant, the French fries are cooked in vegetable oil.In addition, we have no plans to change the way we prepare our French fries in the U.S. However, it is important to know that our French fries are prepared differently in other countries.Additionally, we do have a restaurant located in Dearborn, Michigan were they have begun to offer halal foods. The first item that was offered was the "halal nuggets". We also offer the Filet-O-Fish sandwich which is considered an "halal" item as well. Although the "halal nuggets" are not currently a national menu item, you may wish to speak directly with your local McDonald's and voice your concerns for additional items that are "halal".Again, thank you for contacting McDonald's. We look forward to serving you for years to come.BeverlyMcDonald's Customer Response Center

Thank your interest in Hush Puppies.
Yes, some of our products contain pigskin. It is either as a lining or if the product is made from Suede then this can be taken from either a cow or a pig.

Question
Assalamu Alaykum,
I do not eat at McDonalds, KFC, Burger King etc in the UK. When I went for
Hajj this year I saw these outlets in Makkah and Madina. What do you advise
about eating at these places in the Holy cities.
I look forward to your reply. Jazakallah.

Respected Sister Brother
It is known for sure that Saudia Arabia import frozen meat. It is not possible to know for sure that Halaal labelled packaging are indeed bona fide, hence not advisable to rely on these alone. If you see the links at the bottom, you can see how careless suppliers can be with regards to Halaal. Certainly, there should be close Muslim supervision from beginning to end, to ensure critical jurisprudential rules are applied. We can be sure then that Halaal reaches the Muslims as Halaal. Clearly if the meat is not scrutinised from a-z by Muslims then the meat cannot be trustworthy, especially if they are from non-Muslim countries
Some advice tendered:
1. You may ensure that the Hajj or Umrah group you select procure meat which is not imported, for example.
2. Don't eat at restaurants and takeaways willy nilly, rather ask someone who is 'in the know' where you can buy Halaal with certitude.ussay milna saleebon ke gali mein/ ussay kehna wo sach keyon bolta tha
